STEFAN BRIZE / Stéphane Brizé
Stéphane Brizé (1966) was born inFrance. He attended a University Institutes of Technology and moved to Paris, where he started his career in theater and television, before moving on to short films and feature films. He started to gain fame after his first feature Hometown Blue (1998) was screened in Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival. His film The Measure of a Man (2015) was selected to compete for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes and won Prize of the Ecumenical Jury. For A Woman’s Life (2016) he won FIPRESCI Prize at Venice Film Festival.
