A series of events will radically change the lives of the inhabitants of a Roman apartment building, revealing their difficulties in being parents, siblings or neighbors, in a world where coexistence seems to be ruled by fear and resentment. While the men are imprisoned by their obstinacy, the women, each in their own way, attempt to mend these fragmented lives to finally and serenely pass on a love that had been thought lost forever.

NANI MORETI / NANNI MORETTI
Nanni Moretti was born in 1953 in Brunico, Italy. He lives in Rome, where since he was a kid he has devoted himself to his two passions: cinema and water-polo. His films have won numerous awards, including Best Director at Cannes for Caro Diario (1993). Many of his films have played the Festival, including April (1998), The Son’s Room (2001), which won the Palme d’Or and a FIPRESCI award at Cannes, Il Caimano (2006), Habemus Papam (2011), and Mia Madre (2015). Three Floors (21) is his latest film.
