LUJ GAREL / LOUIS GARREL
Louis Garrel (Paris, 1983) is a French actor and director. He is best known for his starring role in The Dreamers (2002) by Bernardo Bertolucci. Garrel has since starred in various French films, including Les Amant Reguliers (2005), directed by his father Philippe Garrel. He was awarded the César Award for Most Promising Actor for his work in the film. He started to direct films on his own soon after. Louis Garrel wrote and directed a short film My Buddies (2008). His debut feature Two Friends (2015) screened at Cannes in the International Critics’ Week section.
